Åsa Secher
is a Swedish journalist with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The
Department of Journalism, Media and Communication (JMK) at Stockholm
University and a diploma from the International semester program
Journalism, Multimedia and Stereotypes at Danish School of Media and
Journalism in Århus. She previously studied Cinema Studies at Stockholm
University. She is currently working as editor-in-chief for student
magazine Gaudeamus and has previously worked as a reporter at Swedish
Radio. As a freelance journalist she has produced stories from Ghana,
Tanzania, England, Denmark and France. Jashim Salam obtained the medium of photography in his efforts to grow social awareness into the society against the class discrimination he has been observing since his childhood. His major focus is in social documentaries, specially voicing for migrant workers, handicapped people, and climate refugees. His works have been published in numerous national and international newspapers, magazines and publications. He has received many prestigious awards and his photographs exhibited in Bangladesh, France, UAE, China, UK, Switzerland, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Russia and USA. Professionally, he works for DrikNews, an international news photo agency. Marcus Linder is, and has been for the last four years, the chairman for the photo club Knepp at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Stockholm, Sweden. He studies Master of Science in Engineering in Media Technology at KTH. He took courses in photography at KTH, Högskolan i Jönköping and NTU (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore). He works as a freelance photographer, where he mostly shoots portraits, weddings and events. He has also been the lead photographer for Armada 2011, the carrier days at KTH. Mohammad Rakibul Hasan, a photojournalist based in Bangladesh, is represented by Falcon Photo Agency. Documentary and advertising photography, both he practices as a contrast. He is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Photojournalism under scholarship program at Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ) at Ateneo De Manila University. He previously studied in Film & Video Production at UBS Film School at the University of Sydney. He has achieved several international awards in photography and short films. His photography exhibited and published worldwide. Tanja Z. is an Austrian painter and writer. Creativity has always been a part of her life, and her desire to find like-minded people, inspiration and her own style had her travel around the world. Her painting style is very intuitive, she enjoys painting in vivid acrylic colors and many layers, which often feature botanical elements and the human figure. She just launched her new website. |
